Council Meeting Changes
The RM of Piney has moved the June 10th meeting to June 17th and has cancelled the June 24th, July 22nd, and August 26th meetings.
Complete Burn Ban
The RM has issued a complete burn ban for the RM of Piney and will remain in effect until further notice!
Request for Quotation – 2025 Harvesting of Timber
The RM of Piney is accepting quotations for harvesting of timber. Deadline to submit quotations is June 6, 2025 by 12:00pm.
MB Wildfire Service Level 1 Fire & Travel Restrictions
The Manitoba Wildfire Service advises Level 1 fire and travel restrictions will be implemented at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 2 for the entire RM of Piney.
Victoria Day Office Closure
The RM office will be closed on Monday, May 19th for Victoria Day.
Regular Council Meeting Time Change
Starting April 8, 2025 Regular Council meetings will commence at 9:00am, until further notice.
Spring Dump Hours
The Vassar and Sandilands dump sites will be open for burnable yard waste only, on select dates in May.
Holiday Office Closure
The RM office will be closed on Friday, April 18th and Monday, April 21st for Easter weekend.
2025 Road Weight Restrictions
The RM will be imposing a 65% weight restriction of normal loading as of March 17, 2025 and will remain until further notice.
Coffee with Council 2025
Coffee with Council is scheduled for March 10th, March12th, and March 13th. We look forward to seeing you there!
