The RM will be imposing a 65% weight restriction of normal loading as of March 8, 2024 and will remain until further notice.
Road Closed for Paving in Woodridge July 27-28
Sandilands Main Market Road in Woodridge from PR 210 to Pinewood Drive will be closed for paving from July 27-28th, 2023.
Open Fires Burn Ban in Place – May 24th, 2023
There is a Burn Ban in effect as of May 24th, 2023 for all Open Fire in the RM of Piney
Addition to Road Weight Restrictions
A 65% Road Weight Restriction has now been added to Road 60E from Hwy 201 to Hwy 12

Burn Ban Lifted
The RM of Piney has no burn bans in place at this time.
Open Fires Ban in Place – August 27th
The Complete Burn Ban has been removed and only recreational fires are permitted. No open fires will be allowed at this time.
Complete Burn Ban Still in Effect
August 20th, 2021 – The RM of Piney still has a complete burn ban in effect at this time. Our ban is to be followed due to the RMs being more restrictive then Manitoba Conservation & Climates ban.
Road 2N Bridge Closure July 29-30
Road 2N up to PR 308 will be closed on July 29 until the end of the work week for Bridge repairs.

Road 6N Sprague Creek Bridge Closure July 20-23
Road 79E to Road to Road 80E along Road 6N will be closed due to Sprague Creek Bridge repairs from July 20th to 23rd, 2021.
Carrick CN Crossing Closure July 18-19
Carrick Main Road will be closed along the CN crossing from midnight July 18th to 6am July 19th, 2021.
