Council meetings are places to discuss policies, programs and events, economic development and finances. It is the council’s goal to make decisions that benefit and enhance the community.
Regular meetings of Council shall be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month in the Council chamber of The Rural Municipality of Piney in Vassar, MB. Beginning on the second Sunday in March, during Daylight Savings Time, the Regular Meeting will be held at 7:00 PM. On the first Sunday in November, upon the return to Standard Time, the Regular Meeting will be held at the hour of 6:00 PM.
A notice prior to the first Council meeting each year shall be posted in the municipal office outlining the regular meeting schedule for the year. These meetings are open to the public to attend. The Committee as a Whole meets the first Wednesday of every month; these meetings are open to the public.

Become a Delegate
If you have an issue you would like to bring to a council meeting, you can become a delegate. To allow members of Council to prepare for delegations, presenters shall register in writing with the C.A.O. by no later than 4:30 PM of the Tuesday preceding the regular Council Meeting, together with topic and scope of their presentation. The approved delegation shall provide Council with a copy or outline of their presentation at the scheduled meeting. You may send in your request to the R.M. office via email.
